What is Lucid dreaming ? It is realizing you’re dreaming and controlling the dream. It occurs during the REM sleep, with increased activity in the brain’s prefrontal cortex, which aids self-awareness and decision- making.

What’s in it for a teen like me? It floods in the creativity that is often tough to arrive at. Exploring boundless creativity is a dream come true for me.  It pushes scary dreams away and helps me consciously transform my nightmares into something I can challenge or simply live with. Would you believe it brings in personal growth? It indeed does! I can actually gain insight into my subconscious – that little space in my head reserved for anything I come across. It’s also to practise real-life skills, absolutely risk-free!!

However, reality checks, with or without plans, are required so we question if we are actually in a fantasy world or the world we actually live in. Putting down the dreams does help in keeping a tab of what your subconscious actually records.

Lucid dreaming felt limitless. One night, I realized I was dreaming and flew over breathtaking landscapes, changing scenes at will. I confronted my fears and turned nightmares into empowering adventures, gaining thrilling experiences and profound insights into my subconscious.

Lucid dreaming offers a unique way to explore your challenges that lie in wait for you, conquer fears, and unleash creativity. With practice, you can control your dreams and enjoy happy lucidity!
