Senior School
Senior Secondary holds a special place at Camford.
Since the inception of the school, the board examinations have seen the senior school excel in the core and elective subjects alike. The results, being laudable, progresses into better numbers with each passing year. The senior secondary students receive ample supplementary training required to crack competitive exams and it is but natural for the school to see a long list of prospective professionals with the required scores in their NEET, JEE and SAT. This enables them to be placed in top-ranking universities abroad and in the country. The holistic training offered for the overall development of the student is a major attribute of the school which employs committed, dedicated and gifted faculty who take on multiple roles of a friend, guide and facilitator.
Each month offers privileged opportunities to our senior scholars to prove their mettle in organizing programmes and unveil their flairs. The department of Commerce holds the interschool SYMBIOSIS and the interclass EQUILIBRIUM each academic year. The participant schools count at the SYMBIOSIS increases by the year with the lauding for the student hosts. Our alumni attribute their centre stage in college, to our school since every student here, is presented with openings to test their forte.
In the equally strong arena, Sports, the student body hosts the GOLDEN BOOT INTERSCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT and the SHOOTING STARS INTERSCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT. The teacher team stands as a mentor to our students in this division for their State and National level competitions. This training instills the self-reliance required to take on more ultimatums after graduation.
The Founder’s Day celebrations are executed by the pupil body that offers its suggestions to the management upon consultation with the elected student council that holds regular meetings to discuss the staging of shows and addressing concerns (if any at all).
The GUINNESS attempts of the school are many in count while the prime awards conferred on our institution are the ‘GREAT PLACE TO STUDY IN’ on 17 June 2019 and the British Council’s ‘INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD’ twin times over are testimony to the headway in student progress.
In essence, the academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular sections of our school blend in with equal significance so each educator and student feel welcomed and at home in education.
