The Fascinating Universe ! Nothing drives home the fact of the enormity of the universe and the inconsequential nature of man more than a view of the night sky. But there is nothing more exquisite or mysterious either. Understanding the universe (unveiling the mysteries of Quantum Physics), a fascinating field.

My favourite experience, out of all the varied ones that life has to offer, has to be staring up at the night sky one night after all the chores of the day had been taken care of. There was a gentle breeze to rid me of all the expectations cast on me and the smell of grass pervaded. It was quiet and calm. Not a whisper the spirits made for even they understood the sanctity of the moment. My mind, relieved of all its cares, wandered in that space between consciousness and sleep as I tried to make sense of what I could see. In front of me was God’s greatest creation, the universe, spread out in all its glory.

I wondered at the point of this ball of mud called Earth, and the fickle things that men are ready to die for. Fame, fortune and respect paled in comparison to what I felt in that moment: a profound sense of calm and relaxation. Another mystery to ponder about made its way to my head. Are we alone? Is the human race so special and unique that none of the gazillions of other planets all around have been able to make up something similar to us? The Fascinating Universe !!!
