Habits to build before you turn to the age 20 !! Adulthood is scary to teens for various reasons – the responsibilities that await us is enough to plead to stay in the shelter of teenage. A little exploration in introspection might lead to a clearer path to adulthood – I mean just 7 short paths leading us to be readied to take on the age 20.

Abstaining from the use of digital devices is the core concept of digital detoxing. The aim of this habit is to make our days more productive, without interruptions. Exercise strengthens our muscles, and boosts our energy. Even 20 minutes of exercise per day can yield visible results.

Habits to build !

Learning a language boosts our brain power, deepens our cultural insight and helps connect with people of diverse backgrounds. Journaling helps us keep track of things. Moreover, writing down our emotions help us reduce stress and anxiety.

Solving puzzles like sudoku or learning games like chess/checkers can improve our cognitive skills, memory and reasoning. Building a habit of reading books helps us expand our vocabulary and knowledge.

Practising empathy!

Finally, a little contribution to the world we live in – Practising empathy! Helping others helps us build relationships. It develops leadership and a sense of purpose. Combined, these habits can improve our routine and make our lives more efficient.
