Remember, a lot of times this behavior of the child could be to just get your attention. Kids do crave for the love and affection of their parents. So, give it to them. Tell them that you mean the world to them. Open up channels of communication with them, also learn to improve your communication. Make it a part of your routine

After all do you want to miss all those moments seeing your loved one grow up? Make it a part of your routine. Spend time with them. Play with them. Help them out with their homework and other school activities. Tell them bedtime stories, be a story teller. Show them you care and this could make a world of difference in a kid’s behavior.
The emphasis should be on learning
Another important thing to remember is to make sure that you are not adding to your kid’s stress levels! For example, there are times when a student may find it difficult to cope with a particular subject or may be worried about scoring less in that subject. During such times, tell them that it is okay and through consistent efforts, they can score more. The emphasis should be on learning and not just on the marks.
